We source all of our wine grapes from all over Eastern Washington. Washington wines have been on the rise for the past 20 years; the state has some of the best French blends and cool climate grapes in the world.
Upon arriving at Bertelsen Winery you will notice our abundant vineyard filled with Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Madeleine Angevine grapes. Located within the Puget Sound AVA (American Viticulture Area) appellation, our vines were carefully selected and planted into the hillside of Skagit Valley’s most fertile soil. These grapes are protected by the surrounding foothills off the Cascade Range, where they bask in the long summer sun until plump and sweet.
Off-dry Riesling delivers a fruity bouquet, balanced with apple, pear flavors and a lively finish.
2016 PINOT GRIS
Very fruity with a honeysuckle bouquet and acidity. This wine carries delicious hints of pear, apple, lemon and nectarine with a touch of crispness.
A lightly oaked Chardonnay which offers fruity hints of fresh apple, pear, and pineapple along with a nice crisp finish.
Walla Walla Valley
A hearty and spirited wine with flavors of black cherry, raspberry, and plum with a hint of vanilla.
2016 SYRAH BULLDOG RESERVE
Named after our fun and friendly winery dog, Nigel! A fine Syrah with the aroma of cherries followed by flavors of black currant, chocolate and plum.
2013 CABERNET SAUVIGNON
This Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is dark ruby red in color with rich tannins. It has an intense aroma of dark cherries and plum along with an elegant body and finish.
Bertelsen Winery’s first non-vintage blend. Black cherry, raspberry, currant, hints of earth and mountain minerality alongside structural tannins and weight from the concentration of fruit.
